I am incredibly excited to have a career in photography. I have a professional history in underwater, newsprint and portraiture.
I have spent the last ten years as a Navy wife and know that it will forever be in my soul. Compassion is the greatest gift I have learned during that time. It makes me who I am today.
We recently moved back to Amarillo to do some settling down of sorts, to grow roots near family. We are all excited to be here and to be starting this new chapter in our lives.
I have a cozy studio in my home that you are sure to feel comfortable in. I strive to create a photo session that makes you feel not only beautiful, but alive. I want you to feel like it's your moment to capture your personality.
I work in all forms of Portrait Photography including outdoor shots, kids, babies, high school seniors, maternity photography and weddings. I work here in Amarillo, or anywhere in West Texas, Including Canyon & Dumas (my home town.),

Q: What's the process usually like?

A: For a Wedding, I will usually buy you a cup of coffee and let you see my photographs in person. This is such a great way to test out your potential photographer.

For a general photo shoot, we will have a planning consultation, figure out what you are looking for and what end product is desired, this helps me to custom tailor your photo shoot and give you the best experience possible.

Q: Ok, we've had coffee, I love ya....now what?
A: I have a simple contract I will have you sign, it basically covers what each of us are going to do. I require a $400 non refundable deposit to hold your date!

Q: What should I wear?
A: If we have decided to shoot in my studio, then you should wear colors that compliment the backdrop we've talked about. High contrast colors don't generally look too great, like white shirt with black backdrop. If we are shooting outdoors try to dress for the place we have in mind. Solid colors are great, or small patterns but stear away from the loud patterns and skin tone shirts.
